ART & COMMUNITY

Art has the ability to emote and in doing so, bring about change. We both believe strongly in the power of art to create change. To date, the submission of our work to various groups and organizations has raised almost $2000. In 2009, we will be working with Michele Taras to create an annual event that brings together photographers, photography, community and charity. Please check back for updates.

Domani Restaurant/Garilla Photography and Visual Art fundraiser for Howard Public School's Arts Program

Emma Whitla, a Howard Public School 2nd grade student, draws the name of the lucky winner, Debra Dye, from the entries held by Scott Garant.

Richard Manilla and Scott Garant hand over the cheque for the raffle's proceeds to Becca Whitla, a parent on Howard Public School's Art Council.

Debra Dye was the lucky recipient of a 16" x 20" framed and matted "Autumn Reflection". From the raffle, we raised $780.00 for the Howard Public School's art program. Thanks to all of you who participated and supported the arts. You have made access to the arts a reality for the entire student body of the school and provided an avenue for the appreciation of the arts!
